Patina Old World Flooring has created a new floor that is so special (and different from their reproduction, distressed flooring that has made their reputation) that they have created a new company to handle it.

Metro Plank is available in two species;
Select White Oak and Select Maple

Metro Plank is offered in five tasty colors:
Vanilla - Caramel -Toffee - Chocolate - Licorice

Engineered three layer construction of resawn solid wood improves stability, increases durability, and is designed for quick and accurate installation while contraction and expansion are minimized. For maximum stability the same specie of solid wood is used at the top and the bottom layers of the planks, while the solid Spruce middle layer is cross laminated using waterproof adhesive. The width of the planks is 7-1/2", the length is 7' 10", the thickness is 13/16", the top and the bottom layers are 3/16" thick. Planks are tongued and grooved on all four sides with a slight micro bevel to enhance each individual plank.

Metro Plank can be nailed, glued or floated. This makes them an ideal choice for just about every situation. The superior stability of this product makes it an ideal choice were moisture or dryness is an issue, over radiant heating, or when there is a height limit.
